Surrounded by rich flora and fauna of the Himalayas, at the heart of what is known as the lake district of Uttarakhand in Northern India, lies the quaint town, Nainital.Perched above Nainital’s busy bazaars of today, amidst the thick Deodar forest and adjoining the famous Raj Bhawan Golf Course, lies Bhikampur Lodge.The Lodge was originally built by a British resident in the late 19th century and was subsequently acquired by the Nawab of Bhikampur, Rehmatullah Khan Sherwani. This summer house of the erstwhile Nawab exudes an unmistakable aura of a bygone regal era.




Living
Comprises of 8 spacious and elegantly designed rooms with an old-world charm besides two heritage suites. Think of living in the era of Royals with all the modern amenities. The Nawab Sahab & Begum Sahibha’s suites are the two heritage suites opposite each other. Separated by a royal tea lounge, each suite comprises of two bedrooms with plush interiors and sit-outs and one common bathroom.

Dining
A meal at our Dining Room is a pleasurable experience any time of the day. Apart from the fixed Indian / Continental breakfast menus, the chef can always whip up some of the best local delicacies and also a simple and sumptuous home-cooked Indian meal. Its décor works to create a warm and homely ambience. Sample the spicy aloo ke gutke or the jaggery sweetened Arsa. English Tea Room. Perfect place for read in peace or enjoy having quiet conversations with your loved ones over a cup of tea, our Tea Room provides the perfect setting. Serving a rich selection of local and international teas, coffee and savory snacks, the Tea Room is the place to unwind and relax.
Experiences
Immerse yourself in nature with a trek to Pangot or Tiffin Top, or any of the other nature trails, taking a glimpse into the region’s rich flora, and glimpsing the occasional languor or barking deer. Rock climbing enthusiasts can choose amongst any of the natural vertiginous sites, and even a special wall, of course under the close supervision of an instructor. Explore the city of Nainital, taking a boat ride in the lake or a cable car from Mallital up to Snow View.
